This hotel exceeded my expectations. It was very clean, and the renovations gave the hotel a more modern look. All activities/outings were less than a 17 minute drive from the hotel and the breakfast selection was changed everyday.

I loved everything. The staff were extremely nice, especially the guy there in the evening. He was super sweet and amazing. I could talk to him for hours on end

I missed the cinnamon rolls, but otherwise breakfast was good. The serving lady was working very hard. She did a good job. Our room was new and very fresh, clean, and comfortable. We actually stayed again on June 29th on our way home to the Los Angeles area.

We experienced good service at this hotel. It was clean, comfortable and friendly. The breakfast offered consisted of a good variety with fresh, delicious food. We appreciated the swimming pool and the housekeeping done on all the days we stayed there. We will go there again.

I liked the location and friendly staff. Attending graduation and great location near Cal Expo short drive. Bed was very comfortable. Hotel is being renovated, there were no disruptions during my stay due to renovations. I would stay at Holiday Inn Express Cal Expo again.

it was good, the staff was great, we ended up having majority of the hotel to ourselves due to the storm but it worked out nicely and it wa amazing the beds!!!! so comfortable we slept like a baby.
